Luigi Cernigliaro

Luigi is a final-year PhD candidate at the Institute of Management at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, where he researches festivals and cultural events as laboratories for sustainability transformation in urban environments. He contributes to the Horizon Europe project Open Music Europe (OpenMuse), which brings together researchers and music stakeholders across Europe to develop open, data-driven tools for a fairer, more sustainable, and competitive music ecosystem. Within the project, he focuses on the work packages Music, Society and Citizenship and Music Diversity and Circulation. He also works as an event sustainability consultant, developing and implementing environmental sustainability programmes for major festivals and events across Italy.
