Music Moves Europe Dialogue At MaMA 2026: Building A Permanent Dialogue For The European Music Ecosystem
A new edition of the Music Moves Europe Dialogues arrives at MaMA Music & Convention in Paris on October 15, focusing on “Building a permanent dialogue for the European music ecosystem” and exploring how the music sector and European policymakers can build a lasting framework for exchange and collaboration.
For years, the Music Moves Europe Structured Dialogues have brought together voices from across the European music ecosystem, creating a space to exchange ideas, address key challenges and opportunities and discuss the future of the sector.
This 10th session will explore how a project-based initiative can evolve into a lasting institutional bridge between the European music sector and European policymakers. The discussion will focus on the governance, representation, decision-making processes and resources needed to create a permanent and sustainable dialogue.
The programme will open with a public panel discussion at Théâtre de l’Atelier, from 11:30 to 12:30, led by Fabien Miclet, an independent consultant specialised in European music policy. The conversation will explore what a sustainable governance framework for a permanent European music dialogue could look like.
Linecheck is proud to be part of the organisation of the Music Moves Europe Structured Dialogue and to contribute to a European-wide conversation on the future of the music ecosystem. Following the previous editions and discussions that have brought together voices from across the sector, this new session at MaMA will focus on an important next step: creating the conditions for a dialogue that can continue beyond individual projects and become a lasting space for exchange between the European music sector and policymakers.
By joining the initiative, Linecheck continues to support connection, knowledge exchange and collaboration across the European music ecosystem, contributing to the development of a more structured and sustainable dialogue for the sector.
