Music Meeting 2026: shaping the dialogue on today’s industry at BASE Milano
At its 12th edition, Linecheck returns to Milan from November 18 to 21, with Walking Distances as its guiding theme. For four days, the festival brings together the music industry around human connection, international networking and new perspectives on the future of the sector.
The Meeting programme, taking place at BASE Milano on November 19 and 20, brings together conversations, ideas and experiences from across the industry, exploring what is shaping music today and what comes next. At its heart are three specialised Summits, each focusing on a key force shaping the sector, from technology and new creative practices to the evolving relationship between music, culture and society.
The Synch Summit dives deep into the dynamic relationship between music and the audiovisual ecosystem. From cinema and television to advertising and emerging digital media, this track explores how visual and sonic storytelling merge, examining the evolving role and commercial value of music across screens.
Designed for innovators, executives, and visionaries across the creative industries, the Creative Entrepreneurship Summit investigates the business models and production structures shaping the future. Spotlighting modern enterprise and forward-thinking initiatives like Get it! 4 Music, this track acts as a testing ground for sustainable growth and independent market resilience.
But there’s more to the Meeting than the Summits. The programme creates multiple spaces to connect, exchange ideas and discover new perspectives, from targeted Matchmaking Sessions designed to spark professional connections and collaborations, to European initiatives such as Let The Music Play Games and Adventurous Music Plateaux (AMP).
Across two days at BASE Milano, conversations, workshops, networking and experimentation come together, creating opportunities to meet the people, ideas and practices shaping the music industry today. The full programme will unfold over the coming weeks, with more highlights and announcements still to come.
The Early Bird Meeting Pass, giving access to the conference sessions on November 19 and 20, is available now on DICE and Fever.
The Social Change Summit addresses music’s profound capacity to influence and reflect contemporary shifts. Focusing on environmental, cultural, and societal challenges, this summit highlights how artists, activists, and organizations use sound as an instrument for awareness, community building, and collective action.
