Walking Distances: Introducing Our 2026 Manifesto

Distances are a matter of perspective.

Maps measure them in kilometres, borders and coordinates, yet the ones that truly shape our lives follow a different geography. They expand when we stop listening to one another, and they contract whenever we engage in dialogue.

While fragmentation increasingly defines the way we relate, Linecheck’s 2026 edition embraces a more human scale, recognising proximity as fertile ground for exchange, cooperation and lasting relationships.

Because closeness does not erase what makes us distinct. It allows perspectives, disciplines and experiences to meet without losing their own voice, opening possibilities that none could have reached alone.

Perhaps our brightest futures have always been within walking distance.
