ANTICO and the Sound of Memory: A Linecheck 2026 Preview with Inner_Spaces and Kadmonia

On November 9, Linecheck presents a special preview at Auditorium San Fedele, in collaboration with Inner_Spaces and Kadmonia.

Ahead of the XII edition of Linecheck Music Meeting and Festival, a special evening will unfold on November 9 at Auditorium San Fedele in Milan, bringing together three realities whose paths have been intertwined for years: Linecheck, Inner_Spaces and Kadmonia. What began as a shared interest in experimentation, contemporary sound and new forms of listening has grown into a lasting dialogue, returning once again through a programme that moves across different languages and approaches to music.

Key Clef, the project led by Berlin-based artist Livia Borzetti, will open the evening. Her solo performance on a modular synthesizer is designed for spatial sound diffusion, it seeks to explore the interplay between electronic sound, movement, and the architecture of the listening space. 

Then, the project ANTICO, a collaboration between Alfio Antico, Lorenzo Urciullo (also known as Colapesce), and Mario Conte, will take shape. Their work draws on the traditional repertoires of the Mediterranean and Southern Italy, placing oral heritage in dialogue with contemporary sound through voice, frame drums, electronics and sound design.

Rather than reconstructing tradition, ANTICO allows it to evolve. The project moves between oral memory and contemporary production, giving sounds and practices rooted in the past new contexts in which to resonate. At its core is Alfio Antico’s singular relationship with voice and percussion, shaped through listening, repetition and invention.

For Linecheck, this November 9 preview offers a first glimpse into the 2026 edition through an evening shaped by different ideas of sound and listening. From Key Clef’s electronic sound to ANTICO’s transformation of oral tradition, the programme traces a path across time, materials and musical languages, inviting audiences to experience sound as a space for both memory and discovery.
