Bio

Irene Tiberi has worked at Fondazione Musica per Roma since 2008, initially in the production department and now in promotion and marketing. From 2019 to 2021 she was project coordinator for shesaid.so Italy. In July 2021, together with six other industry professionals, she founded Equaly, the first organization for gender equality in the Italian music sector. She has written reviews and articles for several webzines on dance and music, and spent a few months in Cairo collaborating with ANSA, where she covered social injustices such as female genital mutilation and the persecution of the LGBTQ+ community. Born in Rome and raised between the USA, Switzerland, and Italy, she holds an MA in Theatre, Music and Dance and a Master’s in Gender Equality and Diversity Management from the Giacomo Brodolini Foundation.
