Bio
Elijah is a London based Writer & DJ covering Black British Culture, Electronic Music, The Creator Economy and wider curiosities via his multimedia project the ‘Yellow Square’. The work lives as a podcast, book, album, public artwork and a global lecture and club series. His DJ sets are rooted in London pirate radio culture spanning Grime, Dubstep, Funky, UK Garage, Jungle and their contemporary forms.
Elijah has collaborated with AlphaTheta on a DJ Controller, Resident Advisor as their first guest editor, Beatport on a series about modern DJing, Fred Again on his tour artwork and is a contributor to Rinse FM and The Guardian.
Elijah co-founded the Grime record label Butterz (2010-2021) and his work has spanned artist management, event production and creative direction.
