Scouting on Data
Having access to data is great, but finding what you really want, up-to-date and from trusted sources, is even better. AI tools therefore have the potential to create new opportunities across the music value chain. Ideally, they lead to decisions and discoveries one wouldn’t have made otherwise. Whether it’s inspiration for exposure and revenue for an artist you represent, updating a label or publishing roster, finding the soundtrack that’s missing that perfect sync, or filling a few open slots in a festival lineup… What will resonate with target audiences and generate streams, syncs, and sales? Be it the courageous choices nobody has heard of (yet), or the established names. How can we use data tools to scout artists at an early stage, those who don’t yet have a large digital footprint?
