ASCOLTO, presents a special listening session with Bawrut and Scuola Fatoma, a community project and Italian school for migrants based in Borgo Mezzanone, an informal settlement in the vicinity of Foggia, Southern Italy, home to many workers arriving from Sub Saharan Africa and beyond.In November 2024, Madrid-based Italian electronic music producer Bawrut spent three days at the school, recording with its young members. The result is a four-track EP that bridges electronic experimentation and lived experience, turning collaboration into a form of resistance and hope. Following clips from "One Day One Day" — the documentary that inspired the school — this session explores the music, the people behind it, and the power of collective creation in Borgo Mezzanone.
