Ten years after Sport, Nanou returns to the realm of pure choreography to deepen its expressive language, engaging with the sonic universe of the band OvO.

On the occasion of the Dantean celebrations, in collaboration with Transmissions Festival and with the support of Ravenna viso-in-aria and Fèsta, the company gruppo nanou and the band OvO reimagine their creative trajectories to unleash a personal imaginary powered by the radical languages of both artistic entities. This is the Canto Primo, the frist step of a collaboration that unfolds through infernal, dreamlike, and explosive sounds and images.

Rhuena Bracci—longtime dancer and co-author of the company—embodies a moving imaginary that dissolves tangible individuality. She chases shadows of visceral sensations that pour into curved shoulders, relentless falls, and a constant escape from centrality, becoming arid ground, trembling, awaiting a new transformation of the body’s state.

The revolutionary OvO reveal how science fiction and reality are, in truth, deeply intertwined in our contemporary world.

In Canto Primo the two authorships merge to create a work that amplifies the power of both artistic realities.
