Zara Colombo is a musical duo consisting of Zara C. Massaro and Luca Massaro: a fusion of voice and words, of Patagonia and Italy, of visual art and music.
Zara C. Massaro is an Italian-Argentine singer who lives in Milan. Raised in a family of musicians with Belgian, French, and Patagonian roots, she left Argentina at age 18 to work as a model in Paris, Tokyo, and Milan.
Luca Massaro is a writer, composer, and photographer. His work explores the relationship between image and text through photography, words, installations, and artist’s books.
The music of the duo Zara Colombo stems from this constant movement between places, languages, and identities: an artistic effervescence that now finds its home at Sugar Music.
