Sara Gioielli is a singer-songwriter and producer from Pozzuoli, born in Naples in 2001. Her very first encounters with music — particularly singing and playing the piano — date back to the age of four, in the church of her neighborhood in Pozzuoli. Three years later, thanks to her family’s support, she joined the children’s choir of the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, directed by Stefania Rinaldi. She remained there for eleven years, taking part in numerous operas and concerts alongside renowned artists such as Roberto De Simone, Zubin Mehta, and Andrea Bocelli.
After studying oboe for three years, in 2019 she shifted her focus to jazz singing, beginning her studies at the Naples Conservatory “San Pietro a Majella.” During these years — between classes and performances — her voice began to stand out in the Neapolitan music scene, leading her to collaborate as a backing vocalist for nationally acclaimed Neapolitan artists, including LIBERATO (at the special event at Circo Massimo on May 31), LA NIÑA (on the album Furèsta, in the recording of the tracks Figlia d’a Tempesta, Guapparìa, and Mammamà), Ciccio Merolla, and Fabiana Martone (Nu Genea).
In the summer of 2024, she seized a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: performing at the Pompeii Archaeological Site for the exclusive event celebrating Madonna’s 66th birthday, alongside dancers Daniele Sibilli and James Vu Anh Pham.
Sara has devoted the past two years to writing and composing her debut album, “Gioielli Neri”, set to be released on October 16 by peermusic ITALY, preceded by the release of the title single on September 25.
