Benedetta Raina, a singer-songwriter and producer who, through Santissima Benedetta, transforms the monotonous countryside of northern Italy into a disturbing Catholic ritual. Her music moves between the church, the fog, and everything that remains in a place where nothing ever happens. She doesn’t seek solutions or promise salvation: she speaks of families that never change, of bodies that don’t fit together, and of attempts to escape that always end up bringing her back home.
