NAVA is an Iranian singer & songwriter born in Tehran and now based in Italy. Her music is an experimental pioneering mix of western electronic elements and middle eastern instrumental samples of her Persian heritage.
Formed in the cosmopolitan hotbed city of Milan, the enigmatic Iranian singer NAVA creates a unique cultural blender, melding her own Persian background with the incisive, experimental arrangements of producers she collaborates with, creating something truly visceral, with her extraterrestrial performance.
NAVA completed her first Asia tour with 8 dates across three weeks after signing with MÖTH AGENCY in 2024. Her up-beat and energetic yet sensual and dark techno mixes, alongside her hybrid performances with her original music, brought an unexpected and exciting energy to the stages of OIL Shenzhen, All Shanghai, ARCAN Saigon, Axis Chengdu, and ~ Club Hong Kong and more. NAVA is now preparing for her Fall 2025 tour with MÖTH AGENCY alongside her new record.
Apart from DJ-ing is also a deeply creative singer and song-writer. Through her collaboration with Italian and non-Italian producers, e.g Madrid based Bawrut and Sirian/Italian Producer GADI SASSOON, Nava created a sound that ties her Persian roots to western club culture. In May 2023 NAVA released her latest EP N130A. In these 5 tracks she focuses on her fight for freedom, physically and spiritually in an industrial metropolitan city that could be Tehran or Milan entwined with the current women led revolution taking place in Iran as some of the connecting themes of the tracks in the EP."
