Bio

Korobu are a Bologna-based band whose sound bridges krautrock rhythms, exotic flourishes and post-punk minimalism. Their debut album “Fading/Building” introduced them as one of the most intriguing acts within Italy’s underground scene, while the follow-up “K for Key” (2024) takes their vision further, blending alien pop, art-rock, electronic experimentation and dark-wave impulses. Formed by Gianlorenzo De Sanctis, Christian Battiferro, Alessandro Rinaldi and Pablo Quirici, the band embraces a playful and instinctive approach, turning minimal palettes and rhythm-driven structures into expansive sonic journeys. “K for Key” is ecstatic pop at its most primal: sharp-edged waves of sound that echo Silver Apples, Roxy Music and Liars, yet remain unmistakably their own.
