ADDRESSING THE CHALLENGES OF CLIMATE CHANGE
The survival of the music ecosystem
The Music Moves Europe Dialogue On Music #3 is scheduled for this Thursday, January 18, from 10 am to 12 pm CET, at ESNS—the renowned annual four-day showcase festival and music conference held at various venues in Groningen, the Netherlands.

All conference delegates are invited to engage in a crucial discussion that directly impacts every participant in the music ecosystem: the weather.
How can the European music sector tackle climate change amid floods, storms, and excessive heat waves? We will delve into the weather forecast with experts to anticipate the challenges ahead.
The session unfolds in three interactive parts, addressing the current climate issues and projecting what the weather in Europe might be like in a hundred years:
– 10.00-10.10: Addressing the challenges of climate change (short introduction by Robert Meijerink, opening by Susanne Hollmann)
– 10.10-10.40: Weather Forecast (panel with Bob van Oort, Tim van Hattum, moderator Linea Svensson)
– 10.40-11.30: Let’s talk about it (audience, digital attendees and moderator Linea Svensson)
– 11.30-12.00: Conclusion: Findings and learnings + Roadbook for the future (Moderator/host: Linnea Svensson)
What can be done, both at the individual and organizational levels, and what are the potential next steps and bottlenecks for the future?
