It will take place on Wednesday 11 December 2024 at Locomotiv Club, via Sebastiano Serlio 25/2, Bologna.

Don’t miss this exciting lineup of showcase performances! Plus, experience a performance from Godblesscomputers, who recently made waves at WOMEX, the world’s most influential platform for international music discovery.

España Circo Este

España Circo Este, a Latin Pop, Punk, Cumbia, and Reggae fusion band known as “TangoPunk”, has performed over 500 gigs across Europe since 2014. Their acclaimed albums, including La Revolución del Amor (2015) and Scienze della Maleducazione (2017), earned them slots at major festivals and tours with Manu Chao and Gogol Bordello. In 2020, they released Machu Picchu, followed by Ushuaia in 2022. In 2024, they collaborated with Modena City Ramblers on the single Addio Paura.

James Jonathan Clancy

James Jonathan Clancy, Italian-Canadian musician and founder of Maple Death Records, returns after seven years with Sprecato, his first solo album. Recorded between London and Bologna, the album represents an evolution of his musical aesthetic, combining cosmic folk, proto-ambient, and the epic atmosphere of vintage Italian soundtracks. Inspired by the graphic work “Gli Sprecati” by Michelangelo Setola, the album features an array of international collaborations that enrich its haunting, dusk-to-dawn soundscapes with earthy drum machines, detuned pianos, and synths evoking vast, dreamlike landscapes.

R.Y.F.

R.Y.F., short for “Restless Yellow Flowers”, is the stage name of Francesca Morello, who uses her music to amplify voices of the queer and non-binary communities. After several albums of intimate, guitar-driven songwriting, her 2021 release Everything Burns marked a radical shift toward an electro-punk sound full of raw anger and joy, blending dance and punk with a queer, feminist edge. She co-composed the music for Motus’ Tutto Brucia, earning a Ubu Award nomination. In April 2024, R.Y.F. released her highly anticipated new album DEEP DARK BLUE with Bronson Recordings.

Godblesscomputers

Lorenzo Nada, known as Godblesscomputers, is a beatmaker, producer, and DJ with a passion for sampling and vinyl. Since 2011, he has crafted a unique sound that fuses electronic music with the grooves and warmth of black music. His debut album Veleno (2014) introduced him to the Italian electronic scene, followed by Plush and Safe (2015). With Solchi (2017), he embraced a live band format and reconnected with his hip-hop roots. His latest album, Faded Views (2023), offers nine tracks of meticulously crafted, sampled, and synthesised sounds.
