A collab between Digital Fems, Linecheck, ROBOT Festival and Work Wide Women

GenderMusicTech.org is an initiative by Digital Fems aiming to promote gender equality and enhance innovation and inclusion within the digital and tech ecosystem, especially in the music industry. The Bologna’s workshop will be in partnership with Linecheck Music and Meeting Festival, ROBOT Festival and Work Wide Women.

What are the Pop Up Workshops in Digital and Tech Skills?

The Pop-Up Workshops in Digital and Tech Skills are capacity building tools, designed to empower women and gender-diverse individuals in the music industry. These workshops focus on enhancing both soft and hard skills necessary for navigating the digital music landscape.

Participants will gain practical expertise in digital marketing, streaming strategies, and TikTok use, alongside soft skills like leadership, contract negotiation and personal branding. The program includes hands-on activities, case studies, and collaborative learning, culminating in a certified diploma. The workshops aim to build digital proficiency and boost professional opportunities in a competitive industry.

The workshop combines theory, practical examples, and case studies, divided into three main topics and a final networking session. In partnership with Music Ally, we ensure comprehensive learning.

What is happening at Bologna’s ROBOT Festival?

Pop Up Workshops in Digital and Tech Skills will take place at ROBOT Festival. The workshop will be divided into 4 different learning sessions, each approximately one hour long.
