Sustainable Project Manager / Eco.Reverb (IT)
Katia Costantino is Sustainable Project Manager for events/music festivals with her project EcoReverb.
Specialising in training and sharing her extensive experience within the industry, Katia helps festival
organisers and venue to take their first steps towards sustainability in action, while designing tailored sustainable events, setting goals and best-practise strategy to reduce their environmental impact.
Due to the current pandemic, the music and events industries are being forced to reconsider their business models. In May 2020, together with many Italian music professionals and artists, Katia contributed the section on Sustainability requests to the ‘La Musica che Gira’ document on the point n. 4, which asks the italian government to take into account the real needs of the cultural sector in regard to environmental impact. The document urges them to consider moving towards an economic model focused on reducing emissions, managing events in a more environmentally responsible way and promoting collaboration on
the pressing issue of climate change by setting out clear aims and goals.
Katia is also currently working on a project with KeepOn live, to collect data to map the italian festivals and venus in terms of sustainable management actions.
