Deputy Director / SEEYOUSOUND (IT)
Alessandro Battaglini (1982) took his BA in Film Studies and Critics at the University of Turin in 2007 and an MA in Economy and Management of Cultural Enterprises in 2008 in the same univerisity.
Since 2006 he worked in the production department for practically every service of the audiovisual industry (TV Broadcasting, Film production, TV Series production, Commercials, Music Videos). In 2008 he moved to England and started working for Leeds International Film Festival of which he managed the short film section - named Short Film City - during 2008 and 2009. Returned to Italy he's working since 2011 for the Officine Grandi Riparazioni in Turin where he organized more than 3.000 between public and private events.
From 2015 he is the Deputy Director of British Irish Film Fest – a cultural event focused on anglo-saxon culture and since its foundation in late 2014 is working on the development and growth of Seeyousound International Music Film Festival - the 1st Film Festival in Italy totally focused on music-themed films (www.seeyousound.org); first as Production and Programme Manager and from November 2020 as Deputy Director. With Seeyousound he succeeded to merge together the two biggest passions in his life: cinema and music.
