Pianist, keyboard player, electronic musician and composer Alessandra Bossa unfold her unique world with experimentations of improvisation, avant-garde, jazz, and electronics. She goes from preparation as a classical and contemporary pianist to the use of electronics and improvisation and the composition of different kinds of the ensemble. She has worked and played in Italy and Sweden and has also collaborated with improvisation collectives such as Brotz in Goteborg, GreenBrotz in Turin, and Kluster in Piteå. In 2009 she has written and arranged pieces of Alberto Evaristo Ginastera for piano and percussions and in 2011 she has composed and conducted a piece for 80 musicians for the opening concert at the Academy of Music and Drama in Goteborg. From her experimentation, she uses also inside and prepared piano to fuse together electronic and acoustic sounds such as in her project O-Janà with the singer Ludovica Manzo and the collaboration of the percussionist Michele Rabbia and the Norwegian guitarist Eivind Aarset. In 2018 they release the album “Inland Images” (Folderol Records) with which they win the I-Jazz New Generation. She played in many important festivals and clubs throughout Europe and North America including Casa da Musica di Porto, Toronto Jazz Festival, Winter Jazz Festival of Copenaghen, London Jazz Festival at Barbican, Stoccolma Jazz Festival, Gas Festival Gotebörg, Istituto Svizzero of Rome, Europe Jazz Conference Novara, Bergamo Jazz, etc.
