Arlo Parks

Arlo Parks

Nineteen-year-old, London based musician and poet Arlo Parks has very steadily been climbing the ranks as an artist to watch since the release of her confessional debut single "Cola" at the end of last year. With listeners hungry for more, she followed up with the delicate, lo-fi and melancholic "Super Sad Generation", further cementing the notion that she is an incredibly special artist, demonstrating soul and compassion beyond her years. Her most recent taster of the EP, "Romantic Garbage" has been heavily championed by Annie
Mac (BBC Radio 1), making her the latest in an impressive line-up of high profile supporters for the young artist. Other support has come from BBC 1Xtra, Beats1, Radio X, Foundation FM, COLORS, FADER, The Line of Best Fit, Complex, Gal-Dem, Independent, Dummy, London In Stereo, Wonderland, Mahogany, KCRW and many more.
Arlo released her eagerly anticipated debut EP "Super Sad Generation" 5 th April 2019; a four-track collection boasting the singles "Cola", "Super Sad Generation" and "Romantic Garbage", plus a brand new, previously unheard song "I Like". Entirely self-written between the ages of 16-18, and beginning life as individual poems before she added her own beats and melody, Super Sad Generation is an assortment of self-produced and production collaborations and has been made "to pay tribute to all those kids that are in a lot of pain and are confused as to why".
